While we were in Phoenix my grandmother made the most fabulous pulled pork I have ever tasted. So when we got home Matt insisted that we make it. SO...I called and got the recipe.
She said she uses a pork shoulder, but we just purchased a pork loin roast...not just the loin, but the roast.
Then you rub it down with liquid smoke. Salt and pepper it. Add a little garlic powder (not salt) and paprika, and then pat it down with some brown sugar. She gave no amounts because the woman don't measure a thing.
Anyhow, you throw it in the oven on 350 in a roasting pan for several hours, or a crockpot, until it falls apart.
Soooooo goooood. Add a little Sweet Baby Ray's and a toasted bun...mmmmmm. It's her fault I gained weight this week.
