Someone has taken to yanking out her earrings. For the last few nights we've been waking up with her earrings rolling around on the bed. She wants something a little prettier...something a little more like mommy's. Yesterday I thought I'd let her try mine. She loved them. She kept shaking her head back and forth to feel them hitting her neck. And she wasn't yanking on them. She actually did quite well.
So, during the day she gets to wear my dangly earrings, and at night she wears none at all. That way we don't lose any more pairs. She's growing up way too quickly.
It actually reminded me of an episode of Modern Family. The one where Gloria pierces Lily's ears. Her argument for why she thought it was appropriate was because she used to have earrings when she was a toddler...huge ones. Good episode.
