Omee Darlene

Ada's got this fuzzy purple toy that sings "Darling Clementine".  All the kiddos got one for Christmas several years back and they each sing a different song.  They also harmonize with each other when you put them together.  Anywho...it's been a while since she's played with this toy, but she must have found it because she was walking around the house singing "Omee darleen, omee darleen, omee darleen" over, and over, and over again.  So I got on the internet to find the lyrics to teach her more than just the one phrase.

Well, in searching youtube, I found this awesome arrangement by a women's choral group called The Sweptaways.  Strange clothes...beautiful sound.

It's her new favorite song.  Now she runs around the house saying "Bum-bum-bum, bum-bum-bum..." and then more "Omee darleen."
