Garden Path

Matt and I started working on the path again.  It's looking pretty darn good, too.

I've been trying to figure out what to do with this wall.

 

It's the west side of my house and it just looks so boring.  But I only have 10 ft between that wall and my neighbor's property line, so I have to be careful about what I plant.   I've been dying to espalier but Matt is adamantly against it.  He thinks it'll ruin the house, but I disagree.  He still wants to plant fruit trees there, just not against the house.  But keeping them against the house is the only way to keep them out of the neighbor's yard.  

And I think it looks beautiful.
