Lake Harriet

My sisters and I decided to take the girls (and boy) to the park for some pictures. We don't really get many opportunities like this. One of my youngest sisters' friends, Sarah, is taking photography classes at the HS and has been begging to do a photo shoot of the girls. So she tagged along and helped out with the kids.

This is Pierce, the most recent addition to the family. He arrived sometime last month, the second of my parents' grandsons and the seventh grandchild. Hello, Seven!

I know, she doesn't look like any of us. Kiera is the little girl my sister babysits. She's such good friends with the girls and calls us all 'Aunt' and calls my mom 'Grammie". Last week she was looking at the pictures my mother has on her front desk. She's got a photo of each of the grandbabies and Kiera just kept looking at them and moving them around. Then she turned and asked Grammie "Where's me?"
This one's going on the desk just for Kiera.

Vivie...can you see the mischief in those eyes? She's beautiful and she knows it. She puts Sebastian's words into practice
"First you gotta bat your eyes like this, then you gotta put out your lips like this..."

Adeline, Vivie's younger sister. What a hoot. She's still learning to speak and when she lectures, boy does she lecture. She gets that finger going and gives "the look" and she's not even two yet.

"DON' qwuoiejonvjois TOUCH oiwujenvikois ME alkjlejlj."

Most kids her age experiment with being upside down and seeing the world differently. She experiments with being blind. She closes her eyes and tries walking around and spinning without being able to see. She is also a natural-born dancer...those hips just start moving when the music plays.

The three of them found a mud hole at the park and decided to "make soup" with it. Adeline apparently thought it was quite tasty. She had it all over the mouth and hands. And when her mom tried to catch her so she could wipe it up, Adeline went running and started sucking the dirt off of her fingers as though it were the most decadent chocolate you've ever tasted. No allergies there.

Aubrey and her silly pig, Boynton. She doesn't go anywhere without him. I think there are five Boyntons floating around at all the different homes. Mom has some, Grammie has some, Grandma has one, Aunt Beth...she loves him to bits and pieces. Can't sleep without him.

Ada Baby! She's so smiley and giggly lately. I love it! She's a drool monster, I think she's teething. And there's no denying she's Matt's daughter.

I love the park!
